Caching

Caching is used to improve performance by storing data so the future requests for that data can be served faster. When a page is created the caching is set to a default mode which is determined in system files.

The caching can be controlled in the “Caching” tab.

  • Choose a timeout length from 1 minute to 1 week in the dropdown box.
  • By clicking allow public caching proxies are given permission to cache the page.
